My Name is Janie 'Sama' Stratton and I live near Savannah, GA.
When we begin to heal our emotional wounds and traumas, we can experience life that is free from triggers that keep us stuck in emotional pain and the past. Our unhealthy unconscious conditioning no longer hijacks our happiness. We begin to see the beauty that surrounds us and the beauty within; we begin to accept ourselves unconditionally.
Self-acceptance permeates our whole being and when we accept the flaws in ourselves, we can accept the flaws in others. This does not mean that we allow others to cross our boundaries or treat us in an unloving way. Our self-respect is stronger and more solid with self-acceptance. It means we can no longer be affected by others whose wounds are unhealed.
About Me:
I grew up in a home where seeing and communicating with Spirits was a common occurrence. My parents were both Mediums, although at the time we didn't know anything about Mediumship. It seemed normal to have Spirits interacting with us.
I was formally trained with over 30 years of experience communicating with the spirit realm. My level of awareness has grown through training in Peruvian and Nordic Shamanism, as well as, traditional Reiki, Chakra System, Psychic and Mediumship development, Thirsty Dancer (aka Sun Dancer, Lakota Tradition) in the Anishinaabe tradition, Akashic Records, Spiritual Counseling, Spiritual Coaching, Minister of Education in the National Spiritualist Association, Hypnotherapist for releasing Trauma through the Wellness Institute, Chaplain in the Emergency Room, Hospice and Fetal Demise; trained in Dowsing, Spiritual Response Therapy, and Neuro-linguistic Programming; Monroe Institute, The Gateway Experience-HemiSync and LifeLine; as well as, Jose Silva, The Silva Method.
I hold a B.A. degree in Psychology and Sociology from Upper Iowa University; Nationally Certified in the Information Technology field and have worked in technology for 25 years in the private and public sectors; a B. Div., an M. Div. (Minister) and a Doctorate in Divinity through University of Metaphysical Science, California.
I consider myself to be a life-long learner and have dedicated my life to being of service to others.
